Velvet is back!

The weather forecast in Scotland does promise me some rain and temperature drop! (surprise surprise). So I think it is the right time to think of some fresh things to add to my wardrobe.

I hear renewed military style; new cuts of suits and velvet are some of the main things to dominate men’s of fashion minds this fall/ winter season along with some last year’s pieces.

Keeping this in mind I am going to buy this velvet blazer in black. Available for around £60 in the high-street I think it is great investment. Perfect with a turtle neck and jeans, or a striped shirt and bow-tie – take your pick :- )

Don't be afraid to wear it even in brighter colours. When I think of velvet the colours that come on my mind are purple and black. Choose wisely!

Celestial Moisturizer - Heavenly moisturizer for sensitive skin - Recommended!!

Now, the Scottish cold always makes my face very dry -  I have to use a good moisturiser everyday and I always stick to Nivea - very recently my work colleague has been talking about Lush  - so last week I thought I will give it a try . And my my did I like it - well loved it landed up spending £25 on this moisturiser - but I have to say it is well worth the price.
I agree it is a bit pricey but hey let us face it - it is something that is going to be rubbed all over my face so I cannot compromise on quality. The next thing I am going to buy is the cupcake facemask - looks tempting !! Have you tried it? Score it....

Although it's true that some perfumes can irritate sensitive skin, like stronger spice oils, others are really good for preventing redness and reactions. Natural vanilla absolute is one of them. It is used in Celestial for its soothing effect and intoxicating scent. Almond milk is wonderful for calming irritated skin. This moisturizer helps to create a light barrier and keeps skin in good condition. Almond milk is creamy and moisturizing.
My verdict :

Light, non-greasy
Keeps my face hydrated throughout the day
Does not cause irritation or breakouts
Pleasant smell

Over all - Good - Try it !!
And no I am not getting any commission from Lush to promote this !!

My new work bag - £23.00 - What's the verdict?

I don't,t know how some people go to work with nothing more than a bunch of keys and the their wallet.

I almost carry everything that I may need if I get stranded in an island all by myself - and for that I do need a good bag. The canvas bag which I had bought from H&M tore last week so I bought this one online for £23.00 - and I must say it is rather nice.

Spacious enough to carry my laptop, and I have stuff my hat, gloves, scarf and my lunch box in it with no difficulty what so ever.

So what do you think? Thumbs Up or Down?

Black Slim Fit Suit from Topman for only £60 - What a bargain!!

So I'm vain and want to look reasonably good. Finding the right suit can be a bit of a minefield and I've only really been happy with it since going the tailored route. But this weekend while patrolling the shops I found this suit in the Topman store where the suit jacket was for £40 and the trousers for only £20 - now that is what I called a bargain!!! You can see my picture I think I look pretty cool :-) What do you think? Be kind....

No matter what anyone tells you, a badly fitted suit and the wrong colour can make any guy look like a tea pot.  I like in a solid colour, like the one in this picture,
With a solid dark colour, careful cut (slim fit - this means it's fitted around you rather than expecting you to be slim, the bigger stuff looks like a tent) and slanted pockets I actually end up looking as good as I'm likely to, short of getting back into the gym.
I love Topman, but I have to say now that I am nearing 30 I find it a bit difficult to find clothes in my age range there - but I hope I have a few more years before I have to give up on Topman completely.

Rugged but tactile - this coat is the chicest way to cocoon yourself against the cold!

With aviator jackets currently storming the high street, sheepskin has outed as this season's most wanted cover-up. Rugged but tactile, believe it or not the subtlest way to wear the trend.

The next buy on my wish list !! Another masterpiece to my collection.

The Winter Scarf I have been eyeing !!

Well let us face it - I am never going to get used to this cold - and as winter approaches my hunt for a woolly hat, a scarf , gloves and a nice jacket starts again.
If you fancy a splash of colour without splashing too much cash, this checked scarf from Asos, with its bold colours, is just the ticket. For £10 I think it is a bargain - looks I am going to place my order this weekend. What do you think

Swaroski Hot Diamond Necklace - Maybe a Christmas Present for my Mum!!

I  have been eyeing this gorgeous Swaroski Hot Diamond Necklace for my mother for almost a year. It is available for three hundred and ten pounds but I am hoping that I will be able to get it for a big discount in the winter sale.

I think it is classy piece of jewellery which would look fantastic on my mother and she will be able to wear it for a long time. The only thing I will need to do it start saving for it now three hundred pounds is hell lot of a money!! But I think this is worth it. My mum is lucky isn't she?
